About Dr. Gabriel
Dr. Mel Gabriel has been practicing in Stamford, Ct. for over thirty years, successfully treating back and neck pain as well as a variety of injury related conditions. Dr. Gabriel is a 1974 graduate of Queens College and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1978 from New York Chiropractic College. He is also a diplomate of the American Association of Medical Legal Professionals. Dr. Gabriel is a member of the Connecticut Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractors Association which he served as Connecticut State Representative. He also served on the Connecticut Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
In addition to English, Dr. Gabriel is fluent in Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, and is learning French. This has allowed him to better serve the diverse population of his community. Dr. Gabriel has taken numerous advanced courses in the diagnosis and treatment of injured patients. This has enabled him to build a large personal injury practice catering to patients involved in automobile accidents, work related accidents, and falls. Dr. Gabriel has also done extensive post graduate work in MRI interpretation and treatment of disc conditions.
Due to the ever growing demand for his services Dr. Gabriel has invited Dr. Erik Heyleger to join his practice. He is joining a dedicated staff which includes Beverly DeNicola who has served the office for 26 years, Johanna Paniccia of six years, and Maria Burke. We are thankful for their hard work, integrity, and dedication to our patients.
Dr. Gabriel has been married to his lovely wife Judy for thirty years and has three grown children, Andrew 28, Ron 26, and Jenna 22.
